Delicate Dahlias Crocheted Choker

Delicate Dahlias is the most delicate piece of jewelry that you can make. It is light and lacy and can be dressed up or down. In short, it looks great with anything. Just a small amount of crochet experience is required. The necklace is made in small, manageable pieces and then assembled making this an easy to accomplish project.

Additional Supplies Required: Wire cutter, flat nose or chain nose pliers, size 12 crochet hook

Crocheted Rope Bracelet

Using three different size beads you will learn to produce a most attractive bracelet. The spiraling pattern and the overall chunky effect make it a most unique accessory. But, perhaps most important, this crochet rope is so very simple to make that it’s an excellent starter project for the new beader. You need to know only two stitches – chain stitch and slip stitch – to create a truly stunning piece. I made the video shown below for a friend and customer in Wales. I do think you will find it most helpful. As a demonstration tool I used two colors of larger beads to show the technique. If you are having difficulty with the rope I would suggest that you do the same and practice just a bit.

Additional Supplies Required: Small sharp scissors, Fray Check, Size 14 crochet hook.

Judy Crocheted Bag (Pattern Only)

This is what one might call a special interest project. This elegantly beaded accessory, that was once the order of the day, is now a faithfully reproduced bag with vintage appeal. Unlike contemporary bracelets and necklaces that are so much in favor today, this specialty item brings back the beauty of a bygone era. Basic crochet skills are needed to make this truly stunning beaded bag.

Aztec Necklace (Pattern Only)

This is a crocheted necklace, but you will also learn how to do the peyote stitch tube and the loomed Aztec symbol as well as the brick stitch end cap finish, and longevity. The symbol may be slide on or off of your necklace. Basic crochet is needed.

Barbara Evening Bag (Pattern Only)

This is an extremely easy purse to make. Some basic crochet skills are needed. This purse is fashioned after a vintage purse found at an antique shop by one of my students (named Barbara). The beaded balls on the ribbon are designed to be worn on the wist as an added embellishment.

Enchanted Circle Necklace (Pattern Only)

This necklace is made using a very simple slip stitch. During the Flapper era, women made these nechlaces 6 feet long with tassels on the ends. This necklace is an adaptation of the Flapper nechlace.

Cotton Candy Small Purse (Pattern Only)

This is most unusual crochet technique. The purse is very fast to make. Basic crochet is needed. This purse is approximately 6 inches long.

Lady Jane Small Purse (Pattern Only)

Lady Jane is a 6 x 4 1/2 inch purse. You will learn the most important reverse bead stitch to accomplish the bead pattern. The lace edge is added after the purse is completed.

Roses In A Row Choker (Pattern Only)

This choker is crocheted using the reverse bead stitch. You will learn how to follow the graph for the rose pattern. When completed you will embellish the choker with crystals. Basic crochet skills are needed.
