Soft Flex Twist

Learning how to use a Hamanaka is great fun. It will enable you to make this twisted spiral using Soft Flex wire bracelet. It is the only way to achieve this effect. You will also learn how to make the attached twisted end caps. What makes this piece especially appealing is that, once learned, you can make more and attach all those special items in your stash that you’ve just been waiting to show off. Making this spiral as a longer piece for a necklace will be the perfect spiral upon which to hang all the wonderful pendants that you have made in classes or those that you have purchased. In any event it is a great technique to add to your repertoire.

Additional Supplies Required: Flush cut wire cutter, old scissors, round nose pliers, flat nose pliers, chain nose pliers, Hamanaka,kumihimo disk, 16 no-tangle plastic bobbins, E6000, toothpick, blue painters tape, liver of sulfur (optional)

If you’ve ever wanted to learn basic looming, this is the perfect project for you. In just a few hours, you will learn how to dress the loom, the difference between warp and weft threads and how to follow a loom graph. You will also learn a neat trick that makes finishing off your threads a snap. This bracelet is so beautiful in its design that no doubt you will want to make a matching choker.

Additional Supplies Required: Small sharp scissors, medium bead loom, 2 toothpicks, transparent tape, flat nose pliers, chain nose pliers

Loomed Pill Box

If you have always wanted to learn how to do bead looming, this is the perfect project. It is a very easy beginner piece. You will learn how to set up the loom and follow a graph. This is a most winsome project. One pill box is included in the kit. Choice of color available.

Additional Supplies Required: Small bead loom, white household glue or E6000.

Loomed Flower Brooch (Pattern Only)

With these instructions, you will learn basic looming skills including how to warp the loom, straight looming, increase, decrease and finishing. You will also learn a great technique called “pulling up the threads”. This is a technique that allows you to end up sewing in only 4 threads to finish the piece. You will also learn how to attach the loom work onto the brooch finding. I know you will love making this beautiful brooch.

Loomed Net Phone Amulet Bag

This looming skills are required to make this bag. If you never leave home without it, it's a great way to carry it. You will learn looming and net beading. Even if you don't want to use it for your phone is it a wonderful bag to make and wear.

Additional Supplies Required: Small size delica bead loom, white household glue.

Speedy Loomed Amulet Bag (Pattern Only)

This is a very special looming technique. Basic looming skills will be helpful. This bag is designed for a small cell phone, but is easily adjusted for size. A medium size delica bead loom is utilized.

Fleur de Lis Purse (Pattern Only)

This 3 x 3 inch loomed purse is very charming, indeed. Only four threads must be sewn in when completed. Some looming experience is a must here. The frame that I used is available on the Purse Frames page (#104) on this site.
